How pricing works

Start with material cost, machine time, consumables and hands-on labor. Add setup cost across the order. The suggested price covers the costs you enter, the applicable percentage selling fee, and the specified profit margin. A margin is not the same as a markup. Verify your assumptions before using the result in a customer commitment. Shipping, taxes and artwork expenses must be added separately or included in your inputs.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with diode and CO₂ laser engravers?

Yes. Use the actual machine hourly rate and engraving time for your equipment. The calculator is not specific to a printer or laser brand.

Is LaserQuote compatible with Windows and Mac?

It is a browser-based tool. The downloadable HTML/JavaScript edition is designed to run offline in a modern desktop browser, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Browser behavior may vary; use the free edition to check compatibility.

Does the free calculator save my jobs?

No. The free version calculates estimates during the session. Pro provides local saved quotes and CSV export. Keep your own backups because browser data can be cleared.

Is Pro an automatic download after payment?

Not currently. Use the purchase-request link to obtain official payment instructions. Once a completed merchant payment is verified, a private ZIP is sent to the buyer. Do not send card details or passwords by email.

Can I use it commercially?

Yes, to calculate pricing for your own work. Pro is licensed for use within the buyer's own business; redistribution or resale of the software is not permitted. The cost estimates are not tax, legal or accounting advice.

Before purchasing: LaserQuote Pro v1.0 is an offline software product. Requests are handled by email and payment is confirmed through the merchant before manual file delivery. No automatic fulfillment is promised. For delivery, technical problems or refund requests, contact support by email. Consumer protections and payment-platform rules remain applicable.
